| I'm going to Nationals! How did this happen? I somehow did 2 roleplays over some stuff I didn't know and took an impossible test. Winning was a nice suprise.
Amarillo itself was a rather boring city. We ended up visiting some tourist traps such as the Big Texan Steakhouse and Cadillac Ranch. We traveled in the Magic Gay Bus. We got in a very minor bus accident while listening to Mrs. Light's family fun cd (which probably wont be played for awhile). There was also a hypnotist one night. He almost put me to sleep until the bitches around me started laughing. People are funny when they're hypnotised.
I'm still pretty shocked that I won. |

| Funny moment of the day: This couple walks into Build A Bear and asks for a Mexican outfit. And by that, they mean sombrero and authentic Mexican looking stuff. We don't have anything of that sort and when that happens, you kind of have to rely on creativity. Without even thinking about it, Caitlin grabs a pair of hiking boots for bears along with a consrutction hat and goes "don't yall wear these things?" Even the manager was laughing.
I had two coffees, a coke, 2 cupcakes, one piece of cake and some chocolate today. Maybe its about time to cut back on sugar. I'm kind of amazed that I don't weigh 300 pounds.
Tomorrow = replacing my expired license.
Rent comes out on February 21st. I think it would be fun to buy it at midnight, stay up all night watching it, sing along and memorize all the dance moves.

| Last night, I finally got into a Christmas-y mood. The manager at Build a Bear came up to a bunch of us last night and told us that she told little kids we were her "elves" instead of "employees" and we got to work at Build a Bear because we were good kids or something. Normally, I would have laughed but I thought it was kind of adorable. Its weird how other people's enthusiasum can rub off on you so easily.
Lizzi had a party at her house the other night and we had her mom's cooking, which is like the best ever. Then we had a white elephant gift exchange and I wound up with a bear skin rug that litterally looked like a bear. It lives in my car now.
Oh yah, sometime soon yall should come over and watch Love Actually. |
